Dear Parents/Guardians --
I am pleased to announce our school district’s first No Homework Family Night, to be held on Monday, November 12.
I hope your family will plan to simply enjoy the company of one another that evening. It happens to be a rare date in the school activities calendar when little else is taking place.
Our lives are so often packed with activities and obligations. We sometimes need to take a breath and remember that cherishing time spent with our loved ones must be a priority.
So I suggest that on the evening of Monday, November 12, you sit down together for dinner, take a walk, read a book aloud, or play a board game. Bring out the family photo album, volunteer together or do something else you can enjoy as a family. It really doesn’t matter what you do together, as long as you are purposeful about appreciating one another!
It is also a good time to remember that it is our Bay Village families who make our school district a wonderful place to learn and to grow. Thank you for supporting our teachers, our staff and, of course, all of our children. We certainly appreciate you!
Best,
Jodie Hausmann, Superintendent
