Bay Village Schools 2021-22 COVID-19 Dashboard Link
What about Masking?
- Masking for two-week increments to allow for the use of Bay Village-specific data where possible, along with CCBH, regional health centers and CDC data models. We will monitor our district curve and compare it to the city’s, as well as surrounding communities in the two-county area. We are choosing to be proactive since it is more manageable to keep our curve flat than to have to work to flatten our curve.
- Masking Required -- August 16-August 27. If a child shows up for school without a mask, we will be offering them an appropriate-sized, disposable, medical mask.
- Every Friday, families will receive an email and text message alerting them about masking for the next two weeks. This decision will be made by the District Leadership Team and the School Nurse.
What if I have questions about a possible Masking medical exemption?
Why are students allowed to share materials?
Why are we no longer using plexiglass cubbies on desks?
Why must students wear masks in school buses and school transportation?
What about quarantining?
What about athletics?
