Dear Families,
As we approach the holiday season and the new year, we are making a commitment to return to in-person instruction on January 11, and remain in this mode unless an individual building must pivot to eLearning. The following operational issues are examples that would cause a building to pivot to eLearning:
-
High absence rates due to isolation and/or quarantine
-
Lack of substitutes for key personnel
-
Surge in confirmed building cases
-
Outbreak as defined by the Board of Health
Of course, our full-time eLearning mode is available for families who feel this choice is best for their students. Please look for a forthcoming survey being sent by your building principal regarding this third-quarter decision and other building-specific information.
Have a safe and joyous holiday season! We look forward to seeing your students in eLearning on Monday, January 4, and In-building on January 11, 2021.
Sincerely,

Jodie Hausmann, Superintendent
