Karen Derby-Lovell has served in school communication for more than a dozen years and worked in journalism and corporate marketing prior to that. She holds a Master's degree in Communication Theory and Methodology, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and holds national accreditation as a public relations counselor (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America's Universal Accreditation Board.
