Duties of our school nurse:
- Care for ill and injured children at school
- Observe students for signs of communicable disease
- Ensure Ohio Department of Health immunization compliance for all students
- Screen vision for kindergarten, first, third, fifth, seventh, and ninth grades per Ohio Department of Health
- Screen hearing for kindergarten, first, third, fifth, and ninth grades per Ohio Department of Health
- Screen vision and hearing as requested by Special Services, parents, and teachers
- Screen vision, close vision and hearing for Title I students
- Health resource person for students, parents, and staff
- Liaison between students, teachers, parents, and community
